Honest repair, no showroom nonsense.
A small, hard-working shop. We tell you what's wrong, give you a price before we start, and only fix what needs fixing.
Small shop, so it pays to call ahead.
The most honest car shop in Utah! Honest shops are way hard to come by, if you need any work done, they are the ones to go to!!
Three things we won't skip
Customers keep coming back, and sending their kids, for the same reasons.
We call before we start
You hear the problem and the price first. Nothing gets done until you say OK.
He called before doing any work and quoted us a price. After getting an ok from us, he fixed our car and had it ready so quickly and for less than we'd been quoted!
Only what needs doing
No pressure, no upsell. If it can wait, we'll say so and help you decide what comes first.
Clear on everything. I never felt pressured. He gave us options on what to work on first.
We make it right
If something isn't right the first time, bring it back. We stand behind the work.
Nobody's perfect but if he doesn't get it right the first time he will make it right.
Cars, trucks, and the older stuff too
General repair and maintenance for most makes and models. Not sure what you need? Call and describe it.
General repair & maintenance
Routine service and the repairs in between: air and cabin filters, tune-ups, inspections.
Brakes
Pads, rotors, wheel bearings and the parts around them. If your brakes have plenty of life left, we'll tell you.
Engine & diagnostics
Check engine light, hard starts, odd noises, fuel system trouble. We find the real cause before replacing parts.

Battery, alternator, starter, wiring. Sometimes it's just a loose wire, and we'll say so.
Steering & suspension
Wheel hubs, bearings, and the parts that keep your car tracking straight.
A/C & transmission
Air conditioning work and transmission repair, with a straight answer on what it needs.
Older vehicles welcome. I love this place. They even work on older vehicles. I highly recommend them.

Families that have trusted us for generations, and strangers who broke down on the way through town.
They saved me at least $500. They were the only mechanic that picked up when I called, and also told me to bring the car straight in.
Richard is honest and only recommends work that really needs to be done. He also backs his work and takes care of his clients!
Other shops said it was "normal," or bad brakes. Jeez. They got the car in immediately, fixed it in 1 day, were transparent on costs and the problems. Competent, easy to work with, respectful, no fancy showroom or marketing nonsense.
Richard knows his stuff. He was able to fix my old f-150 cost effectively. He goes out of his way to cost the customer less.
This shop graciously helped me when my truck's water pump blew out while traveling through Salt Lake. They made the repairs quickly and had me back on the road much sooner than I expected.
Dennis and his crew are awesome ! They know what they are doing and will take the time to fix the problem.
Third generation customer. Parents recommended them and they've been wonderful.
Fixed my latch same day at a very fair price. Anything happens to my car I'm coming to them first.
I picked this place based on reviews here and I was not disappointed. I had to make an appt in advance but my issue was handled quickly and I did not feel like they price gouged me at all, which can happen often with auto repair.

It was a little hard to find their shop (you must drive through a gate to the most north corner of the building) but worth it.Teralyn W.
